Blayne Walsh

"Hot pink! Why not? It’s such an alive color."

We knew him as Blayne From Seattle on PR, but he is really a small-town boy from central Washington State, a place where North Face rules…which kind of drove Blayne to break out. Blayne grew up in Yakima, WA, and while he was apparently always creative, he actually didn't get into fashion design until his senior year of high school. After high school, he headed out to Seattle to attend the Art Institute of Seattle on a fashion design scholarship.

A 2005 design graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, Walsh has supplemented his work life with independent designs, sales to Moksha in the University District and as a senior designer for street athletic wear company called Do The Extraordinary.

Life Facts: One of Blayne’s favorite designers, John Galiano, does it all the time. “He’s incredible. He’s a big influence for me. He’s not scared and uses color – crazy, bold and exciting.”
