If you had to describe your personal FOOD style in one word, what would it be?

LOVE. I SAY THAT IN SEVERAL WAYS. I THINK FOOD IS VERY SEXY. THE BEST PLACE FOR ME TO HAVE A DATE WITH MY WIFE IS OVER DINNER – MORE THAN A MOVIE OR ART MUSEUM. WATCHING SOMEONE EAT WITH GUSTO IS SEXY. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE PICK AT FOOD. CERTAIN FOOD LENDS THEMSELVES TO ENJOYMENT IN A SENSUAL WAY…MU SHU PORK OR ROAST DUCK…WHEN YOU EAT WITH YOUR FINGERS. IT’S A PERFECT MEDIUM FOR CHATTING, WHETHER IT’S POLITICS OR FAMILY AFFAIRS. I JUST LOVE IT. I LOVE RESTAURANTS. IT’S HOW I LIVE. I EAT IN ONE OF MINE – AND SOMEONE ELSE’S EVERY DAY.

When you travel, what kinds of things do you shop for?

I SHOP FOR MOSTLY FOR ME. FOR CHINA OR PLATTERS. I COLLECT SERVICE PLATTERS FROM WHATEVER DESTINATION I GO TO. I TRY TO BRING A MEMORY PLATTER BACK…SOMETHING TO REMIND ME OF THE TRIP. MY WIFE BUYS SILVER THAT’S ENGRAVED WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S INITIALS. WE GO TO A SILVER SHOP IN PARIS.

Who cleans up after a meal?

ME. I’M THE DISH GUY. JACKIE DOES THE LAUNDRY. I DO THE DISHES.
