on Saxx found his love of music early in life. The first instrument that caught his attention was the alto saxophone which he learned to play while in the 4th grade. Being a natural talent, he later added the Soprano and Tenor saxophones to his repertoire in high school and college as he perfected his craft.

Jon's first major gig involved opening for famous pop-star, John Mayer while he was still in college. He has since been the opening act for The Roots, Frankie Beverly, Raheim DeVaughn, and Howard Hewett. Jon had the honor of playing the National Anthem monthly at the Miami Heat games and has performed on the Montel Jordan Jazz Boat Cruise and the Superbowl Jazz Cruise. He hopes to one day perform on Tom Joyner's world famous cruise, the Fantastic Voyage.

Although he has never headlined his own show, it's only a matter of time before this talented musician has others opening for him. Jon now works from Tuesday to Saturday performing all over South Florida. Jon Saxx is continually building his brand. He distributes a weekly newsletter introducing the "Jon Saxx Experience" which highlights his performances and up-coming events around town. His performances can be seen at Ginger Bay Cafe and Sushi Blues Cafe in Hollywood, Libation in Weston and host of other venues. He has even made his acting debut after being cast in the play, "Women Shop Talk While Real Men Wait" at Fayetteville State University. Deco Drive, a local news program featured an interview with Jon Saxx during one of his scintillating performances at Ginger Bay Cafe in Hollywood, Florida.

Jon's philosophy of life can be summarized by a quote he often recites, "God didn't give everybody everything, but he did give everbody something, and with that something you can do anything".
