JLS: MY FAVORITE JEANS ARE GENETIC AND MY FAVORITE BAGS ARE BALENCIAGA. WHAT ELSE AM I INTO? I’M INTO A LOT OF VINTAGE VIVIENNE WESTWOOD. I FOUND A LOT OF VINTAGE VIVIENNE WESTWOOD TOPS LATELY. THEY’RE REALLY DECORATIVE, FEMININE. THEY HAVE INTERESTING NECKLINES. I’VE GOT THIS BLACK AND WHITE BLOUSE WITH PLAID FRINGE THAT BUTTONS. I LIKE TO CINCH IT WITH A BIG BELT.

How would you describe your own personal style?

JLS: I LIKE TO PLAY WITH TRENDS BUT I’M NOT NECESSARILY A SLAVE TO FASHION. I’M INSPIRED AND HAVE VERY FASHIONABLE FRIENDS THAT I’VE LEARNED A LOT FROM. ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS IS A STYLIST. I JUST FEEL LIKE YOU GET TO KNOW YOUR BODY, WHAT LOOKS BEST ON YOU. THAT COMES WITH AGE AND EXPERIENCE.

So what has experience taught you?

JLS: YOU FIND CERTAIN PARTS OF YOUR BODY THAT YOU LIKE TO ACCENTUATE. I LIKE TO SHOW MY LEGS USUALLY. I LIKE TO SHOW MY BACK. I THINK THAT’S REALLY SEXY FOR A WOMAN. YOU DON’T OVERDO IT. YOU PICK SOMETHING TO ACCENTUATE AND THAT’S IT.

What would you never throw out? Is there anything that you should throw out but don’t?

JLS: NO, I LIKE TO DO THE SPRING CLEANING AND GET BAGS AND BAGS AND GIVE IT TO GOODWILL. EVERY TIME WE ARE CHANGING OVER TO FALL, WINTER, SUMMER, I HAVE TO SWITCH OUT MY CLOSET.
