What has been your biggest fashion faux-pas?

Oh- I'm a collector of clothes and don't often throw anything away, I'd figure, when the next cycle come around, I'd be rockin' in what's considered to be vintage wear. Not what you would consider as most fashion consensus, but I select designs that are truly classics and versatile. Anything that end up becoming my eternal collection all have those qualities.

Survival of the fittest: What is one item in your closet that you will never get rid of?

That's got to be the very modern/chic short wool jacket I acquired from Paris just this year, love it cause I just know it's something with versatility and longevity.

If you were given the opportunity to have a famous designer revamp your entire wardrobe, who would you choose?

If the Fashion God CriCristobal Balenciaga was still alive, I would just die and go to heaven to have him give me advice on my wardrobe.

Name an actor/singer/celebrity whose wardrobe you admire the most.

The lovely Kate Moss, love her attitude, sense of personal style, her sexy sophistication.

What are your best and worst fashion purchases?

Best fashion purchases: anytime I score big finding unique pieces that are of great value (no matter the price). Worst fashion purchases: anything that I'd throw into the donation pile once it was worn cause it's too trendy or poorly made.

If you had to describe your personal style in one word, what would it be?

Fusion.

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

The dichotomy between the purity of designs and the glamour of womanhood in the post WWII era in Paris, Christian Dior, Jacque Fath, CriCristóbal Balenciaga. Such fantastic mix of modern inventiveness and extravagant glamour.

What culture, country, or city has the most impact on how we view style today?

I think there's a balance of different culture and styles as the world becomes interconnected. Youth today look to everything for inspirations. France, Italy, New York, LA, Tokyo, England, and China all have their moments as fashion capitals.

What’s the next trend in women’s fashion?

Not to chew my own horn (I'm Chinese and I do adore the Asian designs with a modern twist), but I believe the Chinese fashion is up and coming, as China grows more powerful, people will be looking at them for creative inspirations.

Besides Project Runway, what’s your favorite TV show and why?

Um…Project Runway? Just kidding! I don't receive cable so I don't fall into the craziness of Project Runway until it comes out on DVD. I LOVE colors, and I believe the ultimate beauty comes from nature, I watch the discovery channel for mother nature's inspiration for colors. It is what is most touching and eternal.
