What has been your biggest fashion faux-pas?

A few years ago I went to my friends wedding and I had on an empire-waist mini-dress with 5 inch heels, I did look hot but not for that kind of party, because everybody at the wedding was looking at me like something was wrong with my outfit and made me feel so uncomfortable. The same night I ended up in a local nightclub and honestly I felt much better being there with the same outfit then at the wedding.

If you could only shop at one store, which would it be?

I love unique stores that have different on-of-a-kind pieces. That's why I created my store LAVI to be in that concept and style, so people can shop and find everything they need in one place and they don't have to worry if somebody else will have the same dress or outfit.

If you could change one thing about your closet, what would it be?

Add more space. : )

Survival of the fittest: What is one item in your closet that you will never get rid of?

I have many pieces in my closet that I don't want to get rid of, I keep clothing from when I was a child and some of them still fit me in a way J and I still wear them (as a accessories or accent peace to my outfit). If I have to choose only one that I don't want to get rid of probably will be my multy-floral print shirt-dress that I have it for more that 10 years in my closet, it still looks good and makes me feel great wearing it.

If you were given the opportunity to have a famous designer revamp your entire wardrobe, who would you choose?

Roberto Cavalli.

Name an actor/singer/celebrity whose wardrobe you admire the most.

I would say Madonna. She changes her style often, always looks great and never bores me.

What are your best and worst fashion purchases?

I love when I purchase a fashion item and I get great deal on the prices, I have many of those and I can say that those are my best purchases. Worst…I have couple pair of shoes that I love the way they look but they are not comfortable at all, and I still keep them in my closet.

Who makes your favorite pair of jeans? Shoes? Dress or Suit?

There are so many designers, brands and labels now that is very hard to choose, but if I am looking for myself I know I won't go wrong with GUESS jeans. Shoes by Naughty Monkey, they have the most colorful, funky and different styles. I make my own dresses and I can say that they are my favorite because I make them the way I like, from a beach dress to a "red carpet" dress.

If you had to describe your personal style in one word, what would it be?

Stylish.

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

I love ancient Greece, the dresses and the accessories they wore at the time are just so beautiful.

Where do you get your design inspirations?

When I design a piece I always look for something that is away from fashion. I like to look in cultures, architecture and nature...and then from that piece, I create the whole line or collection.

Which famous designers have influenced you?

When I was still in Macedonia, I grew up watching Fashion TV directly from Paris, and I always dreamt of being one of the fabulous designers, having my own collection and coming out to bow in front of the audience after the runway show is over.

What fabrics and materials do you normally use in your designs?

I prefer to work with natural fabrics and yarns. Silk and cotton are my favorites. They look better, feel better, the fabric makes the designs look richer.
