What has been your biggest fashion faux-pas?

I once found a pair of shoes that were made out of the same exact fabric (gold silk with a bamboo brocade) as a pair of pants that I had and I wore them together. At the time, I thought it was cool, but now I look back and laugh about it.

If you could only shop at one store, which would it be?

Goodwill. I love to create my own style from old clothing. I find beauty in things that other people throw away.

If you could change one thing about your closet, what would it be?

It would be bigger!!!!

Survival of the fittest: What is one item in your closet that you will never get rid of?

My Grandmother’s vintage, chiffon, fur, pin-tucked baby doll dress.

If you were given the opportunity to have a famous designer revamp your entire wardrobe, who would you choose?

Alexander McQueen.

Name an actor/singer/celebrity whose wardrobe you admire the most.

Chloe Sevigny or Bjork.

What are your best and worst fashion purchases?

Best: A pair of Levi’s slim jeans that had this extension on the end of the leg which made my legs look extra long. I found them years ago before the slim jean was back in style, so I’ve been able to enjoy them for years. Worst: I’ve had a lot of bad purchases that I prefer not to relive!

Who makes your favorite pair of jeans? Shoes? Dress or Suit?

This is hard to say. I don’t really purchase things because of the designer/company who made them. I just purchase what I like and I like so many different things by so many different companies.

If you had to describe your personal style in one word, what would it be?

Diverse.

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

1920’s style bathing suits.
