GK: KURT COBAIN. I LIKE GRUNGE, LOVE FLANNEL. I HAVE THREE FLANNEL SHIRTS THAT I WEAR A LOT. SURFACE TO AIR, A WORN ONE FROM UNIQLO. THE ONE WITH THE SILK SCREEN OVER IT IS OBESITY AND SPEED...
I ALSO LOVE DAVID BOWIE. HE ALWAYS CHANGED HIS LOOK, WAS A PIONEER IN SO MANY WAYS.

GK: ZIGGY STARDUST.

MyCloset.com: What’s with the rainbow of hair colors?

GK: IT WAS ORIGINALLY SUPPOSED TO BE BLONDE. WE WERE DYING IT BLACK FOR SO LONG, THEN RED. I SAID I DON’T LIKE IT SO WE WENT TO PINK AND NOW FINALLY BLONDE.

MyCloset.com: Seems that you developed your style over time. What was in your closet in high school?

GK: I USED TO LOVE DIESEL CLOTHES AND ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH, LOTS OF WHITE, THEN CORDUROYS AND BIRKENSTOCKS, MY HIPPIE PHASE. THEN CAME COLLEGE… NOT ONE MEMORABLE OUTFIT.

MyCloset.com: What’s in your closet now?

GK: I DON’T BUY THAT MUCH. MORE EXPENSIVE THINGS. I’D RATHER INVEST IN MARC JACOBS AND HELMUT LANG CASHMERE.

GK: IT’S KOKON TO ZAI FROM LONDON. I WEAR IT WITH SKINNY JEANS.

MyCloset.com: Favorite jeans?

GK: CHEAP MONDAYS FROM OPENING CEREMONY AND TRASH & VAUDEVILLE. I’M SMALL SO I LIKE TIGHT JEANS. AND THEY FIT BEST.

MyCloset.com: You’ve got those white Doc Martens.

GK: DOC MARTENS WERE THE FIRST SHOES I LOVED IN 7TH GRADE. I ALSO HAVE THEM IN BLACK AND THEN THE TALL ONES. AND I LOVE MY VIVIENNE WESTWOOD BOOTS WITH THE BROWN STRAPS.

GK: ANN DEMEULEMEESTER. I LOVE THE FLOW, SHEERNESS OF HER STUFF. VERY ROCK N’ROLL, DARK, GOTH LIKE. AND RICK OWENS. I WEAR A PIECE EVERY OTHER DAY, THE SHEER SHORT TUNICS. TEES BY OBESITY AND SPEED.
