Growing up in Barranquilla, Colombia, Kathy Flesch quickly developed an eye for design. When Kathy was a mere 4 years old, her mother was designing girls' clothing, and as long as Kathy can remember, she has been surrounded by fashion and very aware of style.

Kathy’s mother finally opened a clothing and accessories boutique in her home town of Barranquilla. Kathy remembers, "I was always giving my opinion on designs and materials.” While her European grandparents influenced her culturally and Kathy’s worldly travels added depth to her artistic talents, her unique flair for art and fashion became evident as she grew older.

Kathy did extremely well in school and she moved to the United States to attend the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated in 2003 with honors and a degree in Business Administration. Though her heart yearned for a career in fashion, she set off on a different path, working for various Global Fortune 500 corporations.

The successful businesswoman now currently living in Miami has since returned to her roots, designing feminine, unique jewelry handmade in Colombia. Many pieces feature filigree (a centuries-old design type identified by wires twisted into an intricate, lacy motif) and all pieces in the trendsetting KATCH collections possess an exceptional style. “I have a universal appreciation for beauty, so my designs are intended to enhance women from all cultures,” Kathy explains. “I want my clients to feel confident and gorgeous, not only on the outside but on the inside.”
